Multisite and super simple dashboard for authors

What I would like is a multisite where a book author can create an account upon successful registration (monthly subscription with PayPal for example). When their account is created, they are taken to a super simple dashboard where they can only enter the following info: * book cover image * author image * about the book text * about the author text * link to external site where visitors can purchase the book * social networking links * choice of themes * theme editor for advanced users The book author interface has to be really, really simple. Just a basic form. (The WYSIWYG page/post editor in wordpress is too complex for them.) This is a site I created for myself a few years ago: [login to view URL] I had to learn php etc in order to get this online. That took a lot of time. What I want to do is simplify the process for other authors - specifically those 40, 50, 60, 70, 80+ years old, with little or no knowledge of programming or even basic wordpress concepts. So, for a nominal monthly fee, a book author gets an online presence for their book at [login to view URL] and they don't have to know anything about programming, or even wordpress. They just register and confirm their subscription, upload pics and text through a simple form, and voila, they have a website for their book. An admin control panel will be necessary to administrate users and user accounts. Also, it should be simple for an admin to create new themes (either via the site or externally and upload it). ======= Already set up for this project: * VPS * openSRS account for registering TLDs * paypal subscriptions account * URL for the site has been purchased Some programming work has already been completed - these files will be made available to the successful freelancer and may be used as a basis for the project. Alternatively, the successful freelancer is free to begin from scratch. ====== Key requirements for a successful freelancer for this project: * excellent knowledge of php, mysql, html, css, js, VPS, openSRS, PayPal, TLD and subdomain creation * excellent communication and English language skills * the ability to set realistic deadlines and stick to them * quality design and layout skills * ability to imagine themselves as one of our prospective customers (40+ years old, with very little computer/web experience), and build a simple, usable interface with this in mind ====== Copy/paste responses such as "I have done this type of site many times before" will be ignored. The winning freelancer will be able to provide a brief description showing their understanding of the project, and give a brief explanation of what they propose is needed to complete the project, including a proposed time frame.
