Joomla! site RSS, images, and cosmetic work

The template has been chosen and a mock-up was provided to the customer and was approved. Now, I need the content moved into the site. 1. The news page will have three sections: Company News, Industry News, and a Blog Section 2. I need RSS feeds setup to draw from the "news" section and place the three most recent stories on the homepage in the "Latest News" and "Company News" sections. 3. I need to swap out the images in the top with a different slideshow that doesn't use flash. The admin of the site will need to have control over which images appear there and the slideshow needs to have some sort of stylish transition between images. If the type of transitions can exist in the options for the module, this would be best. 4. The header area behind "Info", "Resources", etc. needs to be replaced with something more attractive that fits the style of the company's old site. 5. Links to Facebook and Twitter must be added 6. A fitting background needs to be added behind the site layout since it is transparent. I will provide the content to you, I just need you to format it and place it onto the site in the correct sections. Those are some specifics. Most of the work is in the RSS development and the scrolling picture section on the homepage. The rest of the work is in content placement and organization. Working with me: I am VERY easy to work with and am up for technical suggestions. I understand web design and coding but I am too swamped to finish this project on time without help. ALL CONTENT is provided by me, you do not have to create anything. You may need to take content from the old site and move it onto the new site, but you will bot have to create anything from scratch. PLEASE, PLEASE! feel free to suggest new things for the site in your development work on it. I am open to suggestions to improve anything. For a Joomla! expert, this will be a very easy project. The completion timeline of the site depends on the content delivery of the customer. I also need you to keep in mind that requirements may change during the development period, but I am very accommodating and will adjust the pay based off of this. Meaning, if I need an extra page not covered in this description, you will be compensated for it based on degree of difficulty. if it helps clear anything up, I have attached the Requirements document for the site.
