I have a very simple project for someone who knows how to cerate a WordPress plug-in. Here’s what I need…
For all the blogs I create, I currently use a very simple php file I call “[login to view URL]”. vars is short for variables, and it is basically a list of variables I use for my sites.
Here is what I am currently using to give you an example…
<?php
//====================================================
// Site Config
//====================================================
// FULL URL of website:
$siteurl = '[login to view URL]';
// General scope:
$scope = 'Orlando Travel';
//=====================================================
// ------> Gheader Headlines <------
// Display GHeader Headlines. Must use "\" before '.
$headline1 = 'Beyond The Teacups: The Dizzying Array Of Fun At Walt Disney World';
$headline2 = 'Hot Topic: 9 Tips On How To Enjoy Orlando On A Shoestring Budget';
$headline3 = 'Travel Scams - Don\'t Go To Walt Disney World Without Reading This';
$headline4 = 'The Best Deals On Vacation Lodging And Travel Lodging In Orlando';
//=====================================================
// ------> Display Settings <------
// Display Google/Yahoo Advertisments
// (0=None, 1=Google, 2=Yahoo)
$adtype = '1';
$referrals = '2';
$display_search = '1';
$adsenseid = 'pub-88112344557364';
$adsensechannelid = '';
//Yahoo Only
$yahooid = '';
$yahoochannelid = '';
//====================================================
// Affiliate Info
//====================================================
// ClickBank, Amazon, Ebay (1=Yes, 2=No)
$cb = '1';
$amazonfeed = '1';
$auctions = '1';
//Clickbank ID, Search Term, Count
// Important: The ClickBank feed will sometimes not work when
// you enter a keyphrase without a "+" sign. ALWAYS USE the + SIGN
$dancbid = "CHANGEME";
$strCBKey = "\"Disney World\"";
$dancbcount = "6";
//Amazon ID, Search Term, Count
// Important: The Amazon feed will sometimes not work when
// you enter a keyphrase with "+" simply replace "+" with "%20"
$danamid = "changeme-20";
$danamazonkey = "Orlando Travel";
$danamcount = "10";
$danamazonmode = "All";
//eBay Campaign, Tracking Code, Search Term, Count
// Important: The eBayfeed will sometimes not work when
// you enter a keyphrase without a "+" sign. ALWAYS USE the + SIGN
$danebaycamp = "8888888888";
$danebaytrack = "ContentSites";
$danebkey = "Disney+World";
$danebcount = "10";
//=====================================================
?>
What I would like someone to do is to turn that file into a WordPress Plug-in that after I activate the plug-in I would then go to the settings section of the blog’s wp-admin screen and select the plug-in and edit a form that would include all the variables. Then, all I would have to do is change my templates and instead of calling for the variables from the [login to view URL] file, I would call them from the plug-in. I hope that makes sense. If you have any questions, please message me.
My budget is between $50 and $75 for this project
