VBA / Excel - Create Dynamic Project Plan

**_Overview_**

I need a specialist VBA / Excel Application programmer to assist in the automation and dynamic creation of a Project Plan. In the attached Zip File you will find an excel file with a detailed overview of the specs as well as the core sheets you will use.

Proposed Application Process

_**I require the end solution to:

1/ Display a form that will allow the user to specify if the Project plan should contain:

a) All Programs / Projects / tasks (this may be dropped)

b) Programs / Projects / Tasks that exist in the current quarter and upto 2 years in front

2/ Upon confirmation of the users selection, your code will then automate the creation of the project plan according to the users selection. The code will essentially:

a) Clean out (erase existing data) the project plan template

b) Initialize the Timeline of the plan template

c) Load the Plan template with Programs / Projects / Tasks

d) Program list order will be defined by the start date of the earliest project within a program

e) Project / task list order is always defined by earliest start date then end date

d) Formatting should be consistent with example plan mentioned above and colors defualted from the Default sheet.

3/ The Project Plan sheet must be set up to print logically everytime the plan is created in Landscape. The row headings and columns to be repeated must be correct as well.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

**_General Misc. Requirements

_**1/ Solution must be written VBA

2/ Code must be commented to explain the general flow of the process

3/ Please use functions and procedures as much as possible

4/ Ask as many questions as possible :)

**_Proposed Deadlines / Workflow

_**Bidder must be able to start immediately on this project and meet the deadlines set.

**Monday 8/23/04 7PM** (PST) - Must send me an update of code.

**Tuesday 8/24/04 5PM** (PST) - Code completed and delivered to me for testing. This will be returned with feedback by 9PM (PST)

**Wednesday 8/25/04 5PM** (PST) - Final completed Code. I will perform final test and approve payment.

I am a little flexible around the timing but not too much so if you have some suggestions please feel free to ask. I will be looking to implement this into the full application immediately after this project so if this goes well then I'm sure a few more projects will be pushed your way.
