The Software is a web-based event management database system designed with Latex and Sequel coding languages that integrates and automates scheduling, reporting, and accounting. It offers a broad range of event management features such as event templates with date/time offsets, event request letters, event confirmation, program specification letters (i.e., welcome letters), contact information, and the automatic generation of various reports (e.g., room lists, rosters, name tags, meal sign-up sheets). Event-specific data types consist of lodging, dining, touring, lectures, meeting rooms, coordinators, and transportation, each of which are program specific. Vendor-specific data consist of resources, bookings, memoranda of understanding, invoices, and pricing. Each of these event- and vendor-specific data types can be analyzed through several view screens to insure all events are secured in a timely fashion. The Software would be a useful database for any event management business, including tour, hotel and restaurant management companies.
Basic need:
Coder to write a code within the software that, uses past data to forecast future events, in terms of attendance and budget.
Forecasting allows clients to forecast budgets and attendance for future events. Some of the
competitors offered this feature for clients to better manage their portfolio of events. Forecasting
includes monitoring past attendances and expenses and generating reports for estimated attendance
and budgets. Competitors also offered a cloud based computing solution as opposed to the client
hosting their own information. Cloud computing allowed clients to use the software companies back-end
servers to host all their data from the software itself to customer information. An added benefit for
clients was the cost savings from not having to build a server architecture for hosting.
