I need HTML or PHP code to paste into articles published on my site that allows the users to add a comment (with comment count), email the article to a friend, and subscribe to an article. I create news articles within tables on my site and I’d like to paste code into a bottom cell of each table that the user can click on that takes them to another page (which includes a header and footer) which re-displays the article and allows them to view and/or add an additional comment in tabular form (can look like a simple forum page). The user optionally enters their name, email and a comment for each article. The comment would then be added along with the user info plus a time and date stamp to the article’s comment page. The comments are added without pre-approval but are run through a programmable bad word filter before being posted. A count of the comments is displayed next to the “Comment?? link on the main page under each article, Ex. “Comment (3).?? The length of each comment should be 5000 words but can be modified. There will be a control panel that allows the admin to edit/add/delete comments, set comment size, modify the bad words filter, allow banning of IP addresses and a check box for optionally sending an email notification to the admin whenever a comment is added to an article. There are two other links that will appear on the same line as the comment link: 1. “Subscribe?? which allows the user to add their email to a list so when there are other comments added to an article the user(s) are notified by an email that contains a link back to the article. 2. “Send Article to a Friend?? allows a user to email the contents of the article and a link to the website. The send form contains the user’s name, email plus an additional comment (optional). I would also like to capture all email address into a database accessible through the above control panel. The above functions can be MySql based and I am open to any other form of coding that would get this done.
