I have a mysql php Gateway page generator that creates
100s-1000s of gateway pages, based on a profile, the pages are created from template with plenty of insertion input variables drawn from the profile. The pages created are physical pages, with dynamic input when drawn through a browser,
the "keywords" variable is used for the page names of the generated pages. At present if for instance the keyword used creates the page name [login to view URL] (xxx being the keyword drawn from the list) using the keyword variable in other parts of the same generated page, draws the next keyword from the list eg: yyy
I want it so when a page is generated the keyword drawn from list is aaa making a page [login to view URL] instead of drawning the next keyword from list to insert into other parts of same page, I want it to use the same keyword throughout the particular page where ever the "keyword" is placed.
heres another example to try and clarify my intent:
example keyword list
aaa
bbb
ccc
ddd
eee
This would generate 5 pages
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
for page [login to view URL] as example if I used the {KEYWORD} variable
within the page template as well, for say title, meta keywords
and meta description fields, at the moment these fields would
look like this
title="bbb"
meta keywords="ccc"
meta description="ddd"
as they would draw next keyword from the list with each instance
of that variable used
I want it so that the same keyword is used throughout that page
again with the example of [login to view URL] page the fields within the page
would look like the following
title="aaa"
meta keywords="aaa"
meta description="aaa"
[login to view URL] page would look like
title="bbb"
meta keywords="bbb"
meta description="bbb"
[login to view URL] page would look like
title="ccc"
meta keywords="ccc"
meta description="ccc"
At the moment how it is, if I create a gateway page called
[login to view URL]
and used the {KEYWORD} variable for title, meta keywords and meta description fields
they would come up like
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
Instead of coming up with the same as the pagename in those fields in that page
[login to view URL]
a consideration is that all pages created are physical pages, with dynamic insertion of
keywords/phrases, so each time one of these pages is drawn through the browser the keywords
change within the pages as viewed through the browser, example can be shown through PMB
The {KEYWORD} variable use in the pages wouldnt change with each page view like the other
insertion variables, the {KEYWORD} variable insertion would remain the same as the original
page name.
Sitting down face to face i could show you very easily, trying to put it in words etc is hard
but have tried to convey what i mean above, this is a complexed system, I have to ensure
that this edit doesnt upset any other aspect of the system or functionality, hence the need for
a skilled PHP programmer, with the ability to strategize and be aware of any possible fallout from
any changes made.
