Hello everyone, I am a linux system admin and I am seeking a MYSQL database optimization expert to work closely with me to optimize our web server. I have made some minor changes already to teh [login to view URL] variables but I am not an expert at reading query logs and seeing problems. We have a website that run several queries per second that has a live bidding environment. When our show is live we are finding that the CPU usage is very high and causing rare intermittent malfunctions in certain tasks that need carried out in the work flow. I believe the website queries may need bench-marked so we can set the correct variables in the [login to view URL], and possibly analyze the applications php code. We have another developer that works for us that designed the code which will work closely with everyone on changes if necessary. Mysqltuner has gave us some results back: Table locks acquired immediately Key buffer hit rate Joins preformed without indexes This project will be awarded to individuals with at least 20 feed backs and a high completion rating.
