Large Mysql Database causing overloading on PHP site dating site. Tweaks needed! Database GURU needed

I have a dyanmic dating site ([login to view URL]) with over 80,000+ thousands members. These members have friends on the site and over 1,000,000 notes have been sent. The website MYSQL database is now crashing the server (Woodcrest with 4GB of Ram). I need a database guru to tighten up my database calls and fix the database so it no longer causes a load on the server. Please only if you have ALOT of experience with databases, mysql and php. You will work with my on staff programmer. Requirements: 1) Make site run/load fast with many users online. 2) Stop site from overloading the server. Please NO generic bids. Include a message of why you'd be able to fix our problem such a caching etc. Hardware is NOT the issue as this site should not take 4GB of Ram to run. I'll give a bonus payout as well for this project. Be sure to include "rick burns" in your bid so I know its not generic. Thanks

Hi Urban Youth, Thanks for your different kinds of problem which have matched with a problem on my article site. Never mind, this problem is not so small or easy. When a database server is crash this is not for only huge amount of data. It's also depends on how the sql is written. So both database design and query (SQL) is important. Plz check PMB for details. To further explain what you need done: A complete look at your database calls to join tables, index tables and to cache common data. This will increase your spped by 50-80%. Please PM me with the script your using for your site and any additional info. Hi, I have a lot of experience with optimizing databases, having worked on a large scale transaction processing database (typically 200000+ updates/inserts on a table a day) these last 3 years.
