Web Application for analyze external data

We have to improve the actual version of our web application. The application interfaces with unix command line tool and has to exchange data with a MySQL database. During the development the candidate has to add security control checks in order to avoid any kind of attack (ie. OWASP). If the candidate accepts this request we are happy to share all the features we are going to add to this project.
