PSD's to Squarespace template with minor html/javascript coding

The developer is asked to build the corporate website for an online marketing company using the designs on psd-files into a template in Squarespace. It concerns a design for the homepage and one for the reference page. For the content pages, the website developer will use the same design for the homepage without the dynamic promotions, calls to action and/or unique selling points in the header. Fixing of some widgets/scripts is also required. - Structure as well as texts have yet been put into the template on Squarespace - In case of a good experience with the developer, we are open for further long term future cooperation. ## Deliverables **Briefing site design** General information We offer online marketing services in a business-to-business market and are a Dutch business company. # Assignment website developer The developer is asked to build the corporate website for our company using the designs on psd-files. It concerns a design for the homepage and one for the reference page. For the content pages, the website developer will use the same design for the homepage without the dynamic promotions, calls to action and/or unique selling points in the header. The design will be made through 99designs.com. The design, a layered RGB file in Photoshop PSD or Fireworks PNG format, will be delivered shortly. The website will need to match the design exactly. # Current situation Squarespace The basis for the structure of the site has been formed in an account in Squarespace. The VWorker will set up the website from this account using the delivered design based upon a template in Squarespace: ? - The grouping of menu topics and subtopics in blocks has been made (although not displayed on the right place yet). ? - The pages have been set up and linked internally; ? - The texts and images of the current website have been put on the pages and given internal links where necessary. These do not need adjustments; ? - The breadcrumb trail has been made; ? - Some widgets have been added (search function, call-me (bel-me-terug) and contact form). These are not (all) working correctly yet, the VWorker will take care of this; Structure The structure in Squarespace differs from the structure of the current website. The mapping in Squarespace contains the new, correct structure. For some pages, the content still has to be made or adjusted by us (noted on concerning pages). This will be done when the design is ready. Homepage * Header* The relatively large, attention capturing header needs to contain the main menu and corporate logo. Next to that the header will contain promotions, calls to action and/or unique selling points. This needs to be clickable and dynamic. The header has to be dynamic by being rotatable as on mailchimp.com. If the VWorker makes the header dynamic in another way (for example by horizontal scrolling), this will need approval from us. We have to be able to change the text in the header ourselves (without help from the websitebuilder) once the website is live and running. The main menu on the upper side of the page will contain the following topics in this order: ? - *Online marketing* ? - *Genereren verkeer naar website* ? - *Verhogen rendement website* The menu option Online Marketing has no subpages (because it is the homepage). *Footer* The footer contains the complete menu (as on <[login to view URL]>), except for the homepage *online marketing*. This means that the menu in de header only contains the main pages, and the menu in the footer both main and subpages. The current possibility to horizontal scrolling in Squarespace needs to be taken out. Both header and footer need to be horizontal bars covering the whole width in all resolutions. The menu on the bottom of the page will contain the following topics | **Meerwaarde ** | **Genereren verkeer naar website** | **Verhogen rendement website** | **Meer informatie** | | | *- zoekmachine adverteren - zoekmachine optimalisatie - adverteren op externe websites - e-mail marketing * | *- rendements-optimalisatie - usability optimalisatie* | *- het team - referenties - partners - online marketing cases - workshops en trainingen - meest gestelde vragen - vacatures - nieuws - contact* | ** ***Content* The content of the homepage, is the one of the page *online marketing.* On the homepage, the blocks with *effici?nt adverteren op internet?* and *structurele rendementsoptimalisatie* from the old homepage need to be displayed again in the space reserved for content (under the header, above the footer). The content starts with the page title, under it a breadcrumb trail, followed by content. Content pages *Header* For the content pages, the website developer will use the same design as the design for the homepage. The website developer will make minor changes: as said, the header of the content pages is identical to the header on the homepage, except for the promotions, calls to action and/or unique selling points. These will be removed by the website developer in order to create space. The bottom of the header needs to look as neatly finished as the bottom of the header on the homepage. *Footer* The footer is identical to the footer on the homepage. *Content* The content starts with the page title, under it a breadcrumb trail, followed by content. ** ** References page *Header* The header is identical to the header on the other content pages. *Footer* The footer is identical to the footer on the homepage. *Content* We will provide you with design - a layered RGB file in Photoshop PSD or Fireworks PNG format - specifically for the reference page. Primary, the references need to be displayed in a clean way (e.g. <[login to view URL]>). Instead of rotating the written references, we want to place them below each other. In the image the logo will be displayed in black and white, on the right of the image the subtitle "company | name ", with the concerning recommendation text under it. Under the written references we will display the remaining logo's in black and white. We need to be able to update the set of logo's without help of the websitebuilder. Logo's will not be framed. If the design contains (a block of) references on the homepage, these will have to link to the reference page. Possibly also on the other pages (as on <[login to view URL]>, without dynamics). Fixed items on the whole website ? As a call to action a contact link named '*neem contact op met ons*' *(contact us)* will have a prominent position on each page (as it currently has on the old site). This links to the contact page; ? - The search function needs to work correctly; ? - The possibility to change the language needs to work correctly; ? - The *bel me terug* *(call me)* widget needs to be activated correctly (currently not working). The widget will have to link to a page where the visitor can fill out a form with name, company and phone number asked for (in Dutch: *Uw naam, Uw organisatie, Uw telefoonnummer*); ? - The images that state that we are Adwords and Analytics qualified and partner of Yahoo need to be incorporated on the website in black and white; ? - Above the footer our contact information and a twitter stream will be placed, matching the design made for us.
