Feature Products Widget Bug -- Filter by tag & category ID -- [WooCommerce]

Hi Freelancers, Homepage feature products Another dev created a custom widget to feature products on the homepage by category ID and tags ID: [login to view URL] They are not working properly. Currently they are bringing up the most recent products which is fine, but they are also supposed to come up by tag ID and category ID if we select. The other developer said it's because we have duplicate post types with the same name so the site doesn't know which to take. Currently we use variable and simple products. None are duplicate. There are only 11 products and they are all different. Other dev says: "Please take a look at the url the post types are defined by names, on the site you're using the same post type somewhere on the site."
