Display tag and Struts link tag ''How to'' question

This is a "How to" question regarding Display tag ([login to view URL]) and possibly Struts tag. I have following part in my JSP: In my [login to view URL] action I set the value for status to be either 'Success' or 'Fail': ... List exampleList = new ArrayList(); Map item; ... [login to view URL]( "status", ???????? ); [login to view URL]( item ); [login to view URL]( "example", exampleList ); forward = [login to view URL]( "success" ); If the 'Success' must be presented then I just add 'Success' string to the list and that's it. But if 'Fail' must be presented to user then I want to show 'Fail' as a url link inside display tag, like the one presented by Struts tag . When the user clicks on this 'Fail' link on the page, a pop-up window is shown (using above JS function) presenting data from another action with URL: http://localhost/myapp/[login to view URL]"/somePath" where path is a parameter. The question is: what should be put inside item in the action or in display tag to present it as a or similar to ?
