13674 GAME Programmer: AS2 PHP mySQL

This is a support/development position creating the backend and templates for flash games and websites. Currently we have 10 projects ready for development. We will take care of the art and design. You will take care of the programming. All code will have to be done in English using English variables. GAMES: _____________________________________ Lode Runner: Format: Side-scroller where all the action happens in frame. Objective: Collect all the coins to open the door to the next level Obstacles: If the bad guys touch you, you die. Map: Digable blocks, non-digable blocks, fall-through blocks, ladders, and ropes Weapons: You can dig a temporary hole to either side of your character. The holes fill up gradually over time. If anyone is in them when the holes fill up, they die. Bubble Bobble: Format: Puzzle game Objective: Line up like-colored balls before the time runs out. Obstacles: Time limit Map: Various layouts of the balls Castlevania: Format: Side-scrolling RPG Objective: Kill creatures to get the power-ups to kill bigger creatures Obstacles: Expansive maps, plethora of enemies, puzzles Map: various terrains: water, snow, dessert, caverns. Ladders, moving platforms. Weapons: hand held and projectile weapons of variety: There will be detailed information on each once a team is chosen. Of course the games will not be the ones listed, but close enough to give you an idea of what will be needed. Each game will need to have its own level editing app. This is the first step in the process, there are a lot more than 3 games, and it is our hope to find a team that we can use for the course of the site.
