I'm working with the virtual world "Second life". Inside Secondlife (SL for short) there is a limited amount of space for data storage, so offsite storage sent and retrieved via HTTP Request is used. Unfortunately this requires php that is far beyond my abilities. More information can be found here: <[login to view URL]> This is a CGI script that does much of what i'm after, however I don't understand it enough to adapt it to my needs: <[login to view URL]> (uses this DB schema): <[login to view URL]> I'm going to also need this well commented so I can figure out how to do my own support later on it. This is just basic "store this data", or "retrieve this data"

## Platform
PHP 4+ OR CGI (Or i'm listening to ideas), MySQL I'd like it to be as platform & OS independent as possible (IE. I run FreeBSD here, but i'd also like it to work on Windows and Linux, Apache & IIS)
