Moving Average Accummulator

I need a program that wil:

1. l calculate the 50 and 200 period moving average(pma) for 2 time frames: daily and weekly.

The daily 200pma means give me the average price of the last 200 days.

The weekly 200 pma means the average of the last 200 weeks (1000 days).

2. Do this for all 3000 or so publically traded companies on the NYSE and NASDAQ.

3. The format should be somehting like:

Stock Name, Stock Symbol, Last Price(Closing price), 50pma, 200 pma.

4. Output file is .csv.

5. Error handling should care for:

- dealing with issues connecting to Yahoo to get the historical [url removed, login to view] is the source for the historical data.

- If there is not data enought for 200 day pma then put "Stock is too young"

- If there is not data enough for a 200 week pma then put "Stock is too young"

6. Programmer should unit test this using Yahoo's interactive chart tool. I have included a link to the site with AAPL pulled up as an example.

7. My intent is to schedule a batch job on my laptop to run each night when I am doing my research. This program should not interfere with that work.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

I want this to run on XP or Vista. The output file should be a .csv file.
