Eventually giving direct access to diverse areas of local interest, from employment, education and training opportunities to community, civic and healthcare issues, as it grows, **[login to view URL]** will become a regular digital information and transaction gateway for all people in the midlands area…*both resident and virtual!* ## Deliverables 1.2.01 Site must be fast and responsive with a simple interface Look and feel should mimic this ex. ([login to view URL]) 1.2.02 The site will be developed using Macromedia DreamWeaver and PHP. The Application Server environment will be PHP and the database will be MYSQL for the website. 1.2.03 The site should have a modular design so that components can be re-used and updated easily. 1.2.04 The site should be able to be personalized. 1.2.05 The main pages of the site should be accessible without the need to provide any registration / log in information. Some of the users of the site will not be interested in regular or frequent use. 1.2.06 Initial content modules should include the following areas: Home, News, Sports, Weather, Classifieds, Personals, Employment, and Entertainment 1.2.07 The site must be compatible with Netscape 4.75 and Internet Explorer 5.5. 1.2.08 The main content of the page should consist of individual customizable modules. 1.2.09 The following information must be requested and stored for all visitors who register with the site. 1. Name 2. Email 3. Password 4. Re-type password 5. First Name 6. Last Name 7. Zip Code 8. Address (optional) required 1.2.10 Searchable index of all data on the site. The indexing scheme should behave similarly to the process used by Yahoo! 1.2.11 Customers should be able to read and post comments about listed events, news, clubs, and restaurants. 1.2.13 Admin content management panel that connect to all the modules (pages) to that all content can be updated from. ************************ a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
