I am looking for a module to be designed for our osCommerce site that will: 1. Allow customers to sign up for a mailing list. 2. Give a “menu?? of check boxes of different categories they are interested in. (These categories should be user-definable in the backend) 3. Tie in to the MySQL database of osCommerce 4. Tie in to the Customer Service/Account information to allow changes to the selections. This should be easy for them to access once they log in to their account. 5. The backend must have a similar interface which allows the administrator to “check off?? boxes of the categories that he wants a message to go to. Once these boxes are checked off and he clicks next it will open up a dialog box (the same HTML dialog box we are using for everything else) where he can write a message which will only go to users in the “groups?? he selected. 6. It should be smart enough to realize when a person has selected multiple groups and the administrator has selected multiple groups so that it only sends one message per email address. 7. Must allow for attachments. 8. Should have “codes?? (i.e.: #FIRSTNAME inserts the persons first name) so that the messages can appear to be personal. 9. All rights to this module will belong to me and I will receive the source code in a format in which it can easily be integrated with other osCommerce sites if I choose to. 10. The FROM email address should be customizable. Both the user and admin sides must be attractive and user friendly. It must be integrated into our osCommerce, but we insist that it be developed and tested elsewhere before “making it live?? on our site.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
