Windows Statistics / Trendline DLL Function

This auction is for a function written in C# or C++ (Visual Studio 2003) that will accept from a Visual Basic program a large array of data and return several arrays of data with a trendline and basic statistical information. The data to be SENT to the dll function is: - array of data (x,y format) - type of trendline [Three types of trendlines should be able to be specified -Logarithmic, Exponential, Linear] The data arrays to be RETURNED will be the same length as the data array and will contain: - Points to plot trendline [2D] - Original data point's y deviation from trendline [1D] - [If not linear] Slope of curve at this point in trendline [1D] - Anything else you feel is significant - this function will be used to study web traffic trends All code must be heavily commented and well organized. Speed and quality are very important. The finished job must include all c++/c# code as well as a simple commented Visual Basic application that calls the function and illustrates it's use. Thanks. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
