I need a Visual Basic (at least a VB interface) that will allow me to execute an appliaction, and will return the paths of ALL the files it has called. I guess this is called file hooking. Ie: MS Word calls many DLL as well aand files in it's own directories. This program needs to return (in a listbox or something) the path of each of the files that is called or opened. It should work for all programs as well. If I write a small VB app, that reads from a text file, the prorgam should show the name of the read file, as well as any other vb runtime files it calls. Also, this might be a separate problem, and if it turns out to be I will post is as another project, but it would be nice to know if the executed application reads any values from the registry as well. In your bid, please explain a bit (you don't need to know exactly) how you would go about doing this, and if you think you can "hook" the registry reads as well (if in fact there are any). All questions are welcome!!! -Brett
