An app to enable using Joystick as a Mouse Code in MS Visual C++6. [ Not .Net!] I don't need a GUI, as I will create one later. Instead, the settings will be determined by the [login to view URL] file. Its settings are: Deadzone= // The "dead zone" threshold of the joystick. While the joystick is within this range the program will disregard it, and consider it to be centered. If this value is too low the cursor will move without control (because the joystick is never perfectly centered). // the speed of movement is controlled by how far the user pushes the stick from the center. Minspeed=1 // pixels. Minimal speed. The pixels per unit-time that mouse moves when the joystick is barely pushed out of the threshold range. Maxspeed=100 // pixels. Maximum speed. The pixels per unit-time that mouse moves when the joystick is pushed all the way to its limit. Unittime=200 // msec The unit-time which effects the above speed. // I'm not sure about what the above values defaults should be. these are just a guess. ReverseX=0 // 0, default, means mouse moves in normal direction. '1' means the X-axis is reversed, so that moving the joystick 'left' will move the mouse 'right'. ReverseY=0 // as above, for Y-axis. This is useful for air-Flight apps, etc. Systray=1 // shows in systemtray. If '0', it will not show. (You can use any generic icon-I'll change it later.) //The system tray, when right-clicked, will have: 'Exit', and 'Help'. Help will link to this html file, in this sub-folder: \Help\[login to view URL] (I do NOT need the actual help file, as I'll write this myself, later). continued in attached Zip file:
