We are a group of artists that make public art works. These are often interactive, and use custom software to make them work. We require a piece of software that uses a camera input to detect about 12 colours simultaneously. This would then trigger a random sound from a directory relating to the colour that was detected. For example, a man wearing a red shirt walks infront of the camera. It triggers "[login to view URL]" from the red folder (there might be 10 red sounds). As this is playing someone with a green shirt passes by. The red sound continues to play (until it finishes) and a "green" sound starts to play immediately too. It needs to continue to monitor for other colours even when sounds are currently playing. There is no visual output to the work; a camera triggers sound based on the colours it sees. This will be built in to a public space in the UK. We need a cool programmer and want to build up a good relationship with him or her as we have lots of interesting software to write. They will play an important role in the artworks and be part of permanent pieces around the world.
## Deliverables
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
## Deadline information
We need a beta ASAP, and can discuss actual time schedules when the project is agreed. We can also discuss a higher fee depending on the scope of the work.
