[This is a re-list after further project scoping] I need someone good in VC++ to create a light-weight COM DLL which does standard HTTP POST command. You may use ATL or MFC, but preferably ATL. The COM DLL is preferably under 1 MB in size altogether (meaning including all libraries you may need statically linked). I know that this won't take too much time of someone who is very good in VC++ socket programming, so preference will go to whoever can send me a sample of existing or simple HTTP POST command to a variable IP address. I've got a simple listening program to listen what you send and also a number of firewall to test your program on. The sample will hopefully handle proxy authentication too. A complete description of the COM object methods and properties is shown in the attached text file. Please read all the deliverables before you place your bid. Preference will go to the person who can provide samples and satisfy that he/she can deliver all the deliverables described.
## Deliverables
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased. The component should be as smallest as possible. Use of ATL is encouraged. The source codes and executables that are accountable at the end of the project: 1. Source code and executables of the VC++ COM object. 2. Source code and executables of a sample of VC++ client to the COM object. 3. Source code and executables of a sample of VB client to the COM object. 4. Source code and executables of a sample of ASP client to the COM object. All the executables will be tested under standard Internet connection and through common proxy/firewall connection.
## Platform
All Windows OSes. Please specify your component requirement if any, such as versions of IE, Winsock, etc.
## Deadline information
First draft must be completed within 2-3 days of NDA release. The whole project should only take at most 1 week time, including testing and final deliverables. I am available for discussion about the project scope in ICQ #56421918.
