Stream MP3 files from a web site
We host our own site at [[login to view URL]][1]which has various searchable databases including an extensive bird database.
If you click on a bird icon on the right, a page appears about the bird. For example:
At the bottom of this page is a link to an MP3 file which is the call for that bird. For example:
Right now if you click on the link it brings up the Microsoft Media player and plays the mp3 file. The problem since the Media Player is running the user can save the sound to their hard disk. I need this to be changed so that the media player does NOT appear, and the user CAN NOT save the file to there disk.
The web server is Windows 2000 Advanced Server running on a T1. The program is ASP.NET.
