I need a script that will run in cron to send an http request to a public job board website and collect information from it for personal use. The script would be run once a day.
The steps would be as follows:
1. Send an http request. (something like "[login to view URL];payclass=1")
2. Get the output and search for a particular html table tag string.
3. Copy the contents of the table fields into a local text file.
That's it. I know it should be pretty simple, but I don't know perl well so I can't do it easily myself.
Hello, I am willing to do it for half the minimum amount and _maybe_ also as a DEMO for future Perl/Linux System Administration tasks + a nice review/endorsement. Thank you for your time.
I have done similar projects in past. Please review my profile for feedback on a similar project that required downloading and parsing data.
I can implement it with PHP and curl.
Hello! I'm Rick and I'm looking forward to possibly creating your script. I use linux and perl on a daily basis. I could have a script created from scratch in under a day. Please message me.
