Hi there
I require a confident cgi/mysql coder to write a snippet of code for me.
Brief run down on project...
I am intergrating two Content Management Systems. One is in CGI, the other in PHP.
When a new user signs up to the CGI CMS, the "snippet of code" will run immediatly after and insert the values into the PHP CMS MySQL Table as well.
The MySQL Table that needs to be updated with the new user details has about 30 fields in it. There are defaults set, and some NULLS so I believe you do not have to add each of the 30 fields, maybe 10.
A cgi script to find the current date is also needed when inserting the values.
A simple string to MD5(hex?) conversion is also required before uploading the password to the MySQL DB
What I will provide:
1. Table Structure
2. Example fields in table
3. String and expected md5 output
4. 4 Varibales used from existing CGI file
5. An attempt from a newbie at perl
Payments can be put in an Escrow A/c (Not desireable tho)
The programmer will not have access to the server (It is on a private local network).
When the programmer is ready to test, It should only take me 10 mins to intergrate, and I will provide feedback of errors(if any) and ask the programmer to resolve for another test(if required)
Details are attached in text file
Regards
Jim
Hi, this is not difficult, but we need the Perl module Digest::MD5 on your server to create the MD5 string. I can take care of this as well if necessary. Thanks
