I have a requirement of steam silensor for venting steam from the system see attached document for your reference We have to take a line of 100 NB from the header. Perforated sheet is there inside the shell at bottom side. I required how much no of holes are required for this sheet to control noise as mentioned in datasheet. Worked on petrol engine combustion chamber. Rectified the Design of top head piston to maximize the combustion pressure and reduce noise by constructing slightly oval shape piston head surface. Relevant Skills and Experience Construction of surface for external load applications and analysing it for noise and vibration produced in working conditions. If it not in within limits modification of design will have to be done.
