Using RealFlow for Maya, the successful applicant will create two large, very realistic ocean environments indistinguishable from reality, with the ability to interact with objects, including splashes and wakes.
The animated surface scene will include foam, sparkle, crest splashing and a cloud filled sky.
The second scene will be underwater, utilizing high quality (fake) caustics to simulate the refraction of light penetrating the surface through highly realistic waves and illuminating objects in the water. Plankton and other particulates in the water will need to be simulated as well as a realistic ocean floor terrain.
