I would like to hire a Marketing Specialist

We require a talented freelance digital marketing professional to join our team working on an exciting new e-commerce digital project for a significant UK client. With the e-commerce platform already built, launched and delivering strong online sales the client is now ready to step up their digital marketing activity. As such we need a freelance marketing professional who can help our client to strengthen their digital marketing strategy and increase sales in both existing and new markets. The right person is likely to have many years of client facing marketing experience and will be comfortable providing support on all aspects of marketing within a digital project. This role will best suit a proactive and self-motivated individual who will thrive as the project marketing lead within a very hands-on startup environment. Initially, the contract will be for a 3 month period. It is likely that the contract could extend. Responsibilities: Manage and support further marketing project team resources as required to ensure a cohesive marketing strategy and momentum is maintained for the project Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns Design, build and maintain our social media presence Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests Collaborate with client teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners Requirements Proven experience working successfully in client facing roles Proven working experience in digital marketing Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends) Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas) Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
