Summary: I want a scrapper for IDEX decentralized cryptocurrency exchange. This bot should be programmed preferrably on node.js. Disclaimer: I do NOT want a website, or a whole exchange. I just want an experienced programmer to help me write a SCRIPT in the form of a console application with no GUI, that does the tasks described below. WHY A SCRAPPER? Right now, IDEX decentralized exchange's API is non-functional, so scrapping HTML responses would be a work-around this issue. Project description: At the end, the bot should be able to retrieve market information for a specific cryptocurrency, and click on the button "BUY" on IDEX exchange. In order to do this, the bot must do the following: 1. Retrieve the market price and order book for a specific token, scrapping the HTML response 2. Retrieve ETH balance of the user's wallet, as found in the Buy *token* label (before clicking "BUY"). 3. Post a buy order that is equal to the current price PLUS 0.00000001 ETH, so that the new order gets positioned as the best price for a determined cryptocurrency. To do this, the bots reads the "BIDS" table and retrieves the info for the first order. THAT'S ALL. Considerations: *The exchange's website is idex.market. Again, I do NOT want a website, or a whole exchange programmed, just a simple node.js console script.

Hi there. I have to ask, why do you prefer Nodejs for this task, is there a specific reason? You can scrap IE listen for changes on some node on that website, and by some node, I mean the element that holds the PRICE text. It will listen for its changes and when that text matches some predefined string or number, the click event will trigger. Now, I don't know how complex logic will hold those decisions, or it will just be that simple statement of (if value then BUY). And I would like to talk about that a bit more. GUI sucks, that I can agree, we don't need it. Anyway, feel free to hit me up so we can talk more about this. I am very responsive. All the best

Hi, your project looks very interesting :) As I understood you want a scrapper bot for automatic buying etherium from idex. I totally agree with nodejs, also IDEX website is very complex and I think It's really hard to scrap the data with classic methods. So the best solution for this is to use "headless chrome" which acts the same way as chrome, but runs in background and you can observe the website at any moment. I'm an experienced web developer working on nodejs scrappers and bot automation for over 3 years and the task seems very interesting for me. I read project description and i'm confident that i will do this job very well. I will do this using Selenium API and Chrome Drivers in c#. I make a bot previously for scraping transactions of blockchain.info. If you need this in node.js then i am not right person, But i will do this using c# and all the functionality will perform 100%.
