Racing iPhone App

We are looking to develop a GPS dependent iPhone app for racers. Below is a description of functionality in a narrative. I have also attached screenshots. Priority 1: The rider will open the app which starts at a home menu. From the home menu you can select from large buttons in landscape mode. Then the rider can select “Practice Moto”. Priority 1: The app opens a map in satellite view, defaulted to the users current gps position. The rider adjusts the location of the map view to zoom in on a specific location on the track. The rider drops a pin on the track to mark where the lap timings should start and record each time around the track. The rider clicks done and The app goes to a screen in landscape. Priority 1: It shows two large left timers. The top one tracks your total moto time from when you push start to when you push finish. Priority 1: The other large time clock displays the lap time which is automatically calculated using GPS and location proximity. This timer starts and stays at zero until the rider passes the pinned lap location. At that time, the lap time starts and runs until the rider again passes the same pinned location. The bottom clock displays your last lap time for 10-30 seconds (configurable), and then returns to showing the running lap time until the next lap time replaces it. Priority 1: The app should obtain the current position, direction, and speed from the phones GPS unit at least once every second. All the data is stored along with your path. The motos are all stored so that you can review the path, total time and each lap time. This is stored under history which is another link on the home page. Priority 1: Historical motos should display over all moto time, individual lap times, average lap speed, peak speed, lowest speed.
