We run a small retail precinct in North Sydney, NSW. We are looking for someone local who can take decent quality photos and post to Instagram a few times a week (generally 3-4 posts a week). Not every post will require you to be at the precinct, but assume you'd have to be there once a week to take some photos, or attend and post about an event. We'll look after the content strategy and plan most of the content, we're asking you to execute the work - go in and take photos as required, write up text to match the weeks theme and ensure the social media page is regularly updated. Whilst we're asking you to quote for a month, our hope is to turn this into a longer/regular gig for the right person.

Hey there, I am a photographer and copy writer and I have experience doing this type of work for a jewellery boutique in the strand arcade. I am very familiar with the process and always wanted the boutique in the past to let me step up their quality and use my professional camera but they were only interested in using their ipads - which is a shame because I have a degree at UNSW Art and Design in Videography and Photography. At this job I helped arrange themes and creative campaigns for the merchandise and wrote up descriptions that were intriguing and informative. I am a natural when it comes to creative ideas and can come up with things really quickly on the spot - I love to brainstorm and analyze in creative work. I have a great understanding of psychology when it comes to how an image is received by a consumer - and this is one of my passions, to understand people and consumers on a deeper level.
