Internet Marketing for Whimsical Children's Books

I am a children's author and have published four books in the past two years. All are beautifully painting by a Ukranian artist team, and all are humorous and didactic. My most recent publication "The Lion's Pride" is a rhyming story and part of my ongoing series "Proverbs and Parables" - which is like a glorified, longer version of Aesop's Fables. Like George Macdonald, I do not write for children but for the childlike. These stories have been good for people of all ages, and I have been encouraged to see the impact they have had on parents, grandparents, teachers, and librarians across NC. Currently, I am in the process of revamping my website, adding more user-friendly features and animations, but I need help with social media promotion. As a writer and artist, my skill sets are in concepts and innovation rather than marketing and sales. I have 400 subscribers and over a thousand followers on my facebook page (stories by seth), but I spend far too much money on promoting posts and have had little success with google Ads, facebook ads, and youtube ads. I'd love to be able to reach potential readers in a more cost-efficient way. The need for fun, beautiful, and morally beneficial children's books is vast and the market is large as well; but getting there has been a struggle. I'm looking for someone to assist me in getting more sales from my online bookstore and driving "the right" traffic to my website.
