Working in a friendly environment within a small team, a virtual assistant with all rounder capability needed. To be part of this team you must want to able to lead, initiate, participate and have a passion for admin support, customer service and tax accounting, in particular working with Good and Services Tax (GST) and Business Activity Statements (BAS) statements.
We want you to be heard and not be a fly on the wall, do you have Ideas that you want to put across? Well we want you to share them and they will be appreciated valued and maybe even implemented.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Admin support
• Communication handling
• Competitor analysis
• Invoice and receipt preparation
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Monthly reports
• General administration tasks
• Preparation and lodgment of Business and Individual Tax Returns, Activity Statements (BAS/IAS)
• Preparation of Financial Statements
• Report directly to the manager and provide assistance to partners, managers and seniors as required
KEY CRITERIA
• Excellent time management skills
• A friendly and easy going personality
• Good confident communication skills and technical competence
• Experience or willing to learn new accounting / data entry software (GnuCash, Quicken, Excel etc)
• A person with high integrity and ability to work with confidential information
