The project: I'm imagining that we are talking about a pair of traffic lights that can be placed at the ends of road works? Set up is accomplished by plugging in a laptop and setting options with a web browser. Then the traffic lights follow a schedule, staying synchronised with each other. Let me know if I've got the right idea. I would need to know about any other devices or sensors that I would need to talk to. Looking at the old source code would probably answer most of my questions. Information about me: I've been a professional programmer for over twenty years. I've a degree in maths and I'm currently studying part time towards a degree in physics ( I'm 5/6 of the way through it). I stopped working full time due to a disability. I have much experience with arduino sketches, troubleshooting and developing applications for them. I have successfully designed and implemented several projects using communication with outside modules. I understand that a new sketch for the modules is desired to replace the existing one because they are too buggy and problematic for actual use. I believe that referencing them in the design of the replacements would go a long way in recreating existing functionality. I believe I can provide a superior sketch that will exceed expectations.
