We are looking to develop a website based on tourism: accommodation, eating and events with a particular focus on entertainment. Most of the content on the site will be user (the merchants/vendors) generated, but moderated by site admin. There will be inter-relational database complexities (ie, some users will have overlap - an accommodation merchant may also have a restaurant and entertainment). There will be some need to extract a small portion of user information into a specific format plain text document on a regular basis. The site would potentially generate revenue from both a user-pays system (annual/monthly fee for listing) and through accommodation booking widgets such as Expedia or Booking.com. We can provide an extensive vision statement/brief for the project, but would first like to see links to some projects you have completed in a broadly similar field especially with some database complexity involved. It's expected that this project may best be suited to a custom PHP development, although we would be interested to see if there was scope to have it initially developed using WordPress.
