I am looking to have artistic but simple design made to represent San Francisco, California's skyline. Ideally, it would be in a style similar to Weiss's Australian logos. See: [login to view URL]
See the attached [login to view URL] (it's small, but you can see the Sydney Opera House, then Sydney Tower, and then the Harbour Bridge).
By simple, ideally, I mean it could be generated in almost one stroke. But it must clearly be identifiable as San Francisco.
The logo will be used for:
1) a Neon sign, and
2) for T-Shirts, hats, etc.
For Neon sign, the lines must be of uniform thickness, basic colors, and it must be possible to make the neon bulbs from the logo drawing.
I am expecting different design concepts. I have attached my attempt via
Some features of San Francisco to possibly include:
* City skyline including Trans America building (pointed like triangle) - see attached [login to view URL] -- this building has a unique shape; it is basically a tall thin pyramid (but two sides jut out at top to look almost square) -- see attached images.
* Golden Gate Bridge (see Weiss' representation of Sydney's Harbor Bridge)
* Cable Car
* Hills
* "Painted Ladies" (colorful, pristine Victorian houses)
My [login to view URL] image is my own attempt at Painted Ladies on a hill, with Trans America Building, then Golden Gate Bridge in background with Cable Car in foreground (taken from the Budweiser sign). Please provide other concepts and feel free to elaborate on mine.
