Children's Educational Theme Designer - Illustration and concept designer needed

Looking for a talented, creative designer to lead our new platform to greatness! We are creating an online encyclopedia and learning platform for kids. For all activity posts we want these designed to a very high standard. We want to whole page from top to bottom, designed into a theme related to the subject matter. We have over 200 posts which need designing and this work will continue to grow as we increase our library of content. If your interested in this job, we ask that you create us one theme template so that we can see your style and assess if your the right match for this project. For example we have an activity post for Tutankhamun, the Egyptian Pharaoh. PLEASE SEE ATTACHMENT for Page Template and content. From this we want YOU to turn the body of the content area into a themed design template. We want these posts to be loved by kids, so the object is to put a smile of their face each time they look at our crazy artwork and fun themes. Each Post will contain a header design, inner photos and a footer design. So the top of the page filled with a background theme with the colors and effect relating to a topic. With funky text titles, little fun quotes and amazing comical illustrations. The illustration need to be quirky and have a lot of character. When ever you can make a small story line within the illustrations, do so. The footer of the post also themed the same to finish off the content. On the right have his tomb open with a zombie mummy arms out coming out of it, with a bubble of text "beware the curse of King" Then on the left side show 2 explorers running away, one of which has fallen and sliding along the floor. Make the theme background fade or break the theme design into white allowing the text content to take over. Change the text font to any text you feel is good for learning and will work well with the design. [login to view URL] - This design style very good, we are looking for something similar, maybe with a little less detail, due the amount of of templates we have to design. We will have a continuous backlog of activity to be designed so there is plenty of work available.
