Background:
This is a game a casino customer plays free 1x/day using their player loyalty card for the chance to instantly win a large cash prize or other smaller prizes. They would be presented with several presents of which they pick one on the 17”-46” touchscreen to reveal their prize. Players play the games multiple times during the promotion period, so the game experience needs to seem random and the user must feel like they are controlling the outcome.

We are looking to increase the quality of the game experience by creating a richness and depth to the graphics not seen in these games—they are provided purely to give you a reference for game play. Graphics/game environment can be 2D, fake 3D or completely 3D.
The game play from card swipe to prize display cannot take longer than 15 seconds.
The movies are controlled by a Flash engine and play in the background of a transparent Flash button/variable data layer that facilitates simple user interaction (picking a present) and pre-determined result (the prize won). The movies do not have complex player manipulation or data display.
Required Movies:
1. Attract Movie (5-15 secs)
Looping movie runs 24/7 when the game is not being played. Start and end frames must play together seamlessly. Upon swipe of a player loyalty card, it triggers the "Pre-Game" movie. There are two renderings of this movie required:
1a) Swipe Your Player's Club Card
1b) Do You Have a Bonus Play Coupon? Scan It Now.
No Coupon? Swipe Your Player’s Club Card.
2. Pre-Game Movie (5-10 secs)
Plays on swipe of a loyalty card (the start of each contestant’s game play) and leads into the Game Movie. It sets the scene for the Game Move and may use portions of the attract. Completion of this movie triggers the Game Movie.
3. Game Movie
Looping movie/scene where the selection (facilitated by the Flash transparent layer) is made by the contestant. The selectable elements within can be moving randomly around the screen up to the point of the selection and also in the Pre-Game movie but must come to a “settled” state (a fixed screen position) due to the button "hot spot" overlay in the Flash layer (slight motion is acceptable but not actual coordinate changes in position). There is no player interaction other than the selection of an element. Upon selection, the Prize Movie is triggered.
4. Prize Movie (1-5 secs)
This movie plays after a selection is made and includes a neutral area about 60% of the screen for the prize text to be overlaid in Flash from a database. The text is variable with little formatting control. The prize text may contain a Flash effect (i.e. pulsing, glowing, etc) which is also controlled by the Flash. Note it is difficult for the prize reveal to originate from the position of the selected object in the Game Movie. Most often, a change of scene has to be created to allow for a prize reveal of no specific origin.
This movie resets back to the Attract Movie after displaying the prize text for 3-5 secs.
5. Error Movie (3-5 secs)
This is a looping, 1366 px w x 768 px h, movie/scene played over the game if an error state occurs (think pop-up) and contains a large area for an error message to be displayed in the Flash layer. This movie is removed by Flash engine after displaying for 3-5 secs.
