We require a new visual basic application to to run a Microsoft Word document template (already prepared). The document is a report for user entry that has macros that display a series of user entry forms. (The macros for the forms are already written from within 'Word'). Other user entry will be directly in to the prepared document. (We understand that the end user of the program will be required to have ms Word installed on their computer.) The ms Word template is required to run only inside the new vb application. The user should be able to fill out the forms generated by the macros, make other entires in to the prepared report documnt and print the report. We require that the use of ms Word be invisible to the user. We require that the saving of the target report and subsequent reports compiled in the vb program not be accessable other than from the new vb program. As an overview. We require the new vb program to give us protection from unauthorised distributing our template / Boilerplate. We are also interested in time limiting the new application so that it can be distributed on an annual license basis. So a programmer who has experience of deploying a licensed programe would be very useful. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform All popular Windows pc pre Vista. (XP, 2000 etc.) Option adapt for Vista if required.) We would like the application to run on Mac only if this does not increase the cost substantialy and it can be tested at the programmer end.
