I have been legal transcribing for almost 3 years, am very proficient at transcription provided the audio is sufficiently clear and am used to listening to standard American accent. To ensure precision, I will re-check my transcription at least twice more after the initial transcription. I live in a GMT+8 area so, - if provided with the audio at 12MN GMT+0, I will be able to work 7 hours on the transcript on a weekday and 12 on a weekend (minus mealtimes, rest, sleep, personal commitment, etc); and - if provided with the audio at 7AM GMT+0, I will be able to work roughly 5 hours on the transcript on a weekday and 10 on a weekend (minus mealtimes, rest, sleep, personal commitment, etc). Hi, I am a new freelancer and would like to apply for this job. I understand that as a new freelancer, I may not be first priority to be accepted however I am interested with this project. I am willing to hear out constructive criticisms about the work I'll submit if you give me the chance to work for you on this project. I've been working with Owl transcriptions for the past month and only got positive feedback on my transcriptions. To answer your question: I can transcribe a 30 minute file in about 2-3 hours if the audio is high quality, obviously if it's of a lower quality, the time goes up. 7$/hour is really low, do you think you will raise this in time?
