Hello Sir, I understood your requirement. You need a software system which will detect text from image. After detecting that information would be used for further processing. We can use tesseract library or any other library you want me to use as well as I am fine with creating my own library. Sir I have complete my Bachelors in Computer Science and my final year project was in the field of Computer Vision, which was to detect a human fall. And before detecting a fall it was prerequisite to detect human using various features. I have also published a research paper on it. Currently I am a candidate of Masters at Saarland University (Germany). I have broad experience in the field of Image Processing and Computer Vision. My previous experience was to create Linux Server which recognizes text from images taken from mobile phone. So a lot of pre processing was required to detect text properly. Also I worked on real time hand detection and finger tracking system. I have few questions about this application that on what kind of platform (Linux or Windows etc) this application would run? Would text be handwritten or printed form? Would images be scanned at standard dpi(dots per inch)? or it would be taken from some mobile camera? Can I have few samples of images so I would have better idea about it Please contact me. We can talk about money and completion time. I assure you the quality work. Hello, I'll be glad to help you. I'm doing custom OCR implementations for more than 4 years and I'm quite season in image processing for OCR. Usually, I work with a highly modified Tesseract engine or with Transym TOCR. Not all the images that your eyes can "read" can be processed - if you can acquire the images yourself, meaning that you can control the raw data quality, that's fine, otherwise you have to rely on enhancing algorithms for binarization, filtering and so on. My OCR solutions are desktop-based or web-based (WCF - SOAP or RESTful), by request or by problem to be solved. I'm developing only for Microsoft OS with VS2012. I'm looking forward for some samples.
