Hello! I'm an MBA student and writing a Thesis about cultural impact on cross-border M&As, empirical study on Japanese company involved transactions. My university doesn't offer access to Thomson Reuters SDC Platinum; but I know that many other universities might. If your university/company grants you access to this database, you can make an offer for downloading the relevant data and sendig it as excel via email to me. ( P.S : the merger should be finished, and should involve Japanese companies as an acquirer or target. Japanese-Japanese M&As are also fine) I would need the following information: - Name of the acquiring company & target company - the announcment-date of the takeovers - the country of the target/acquirer - the share of ownership - Investment or Business acquisition - Industry - premiums on the targets stock (if available) - payment in stocks or cash - Rank Value (if available) - hostile ?
