Simple Network Topology Viso Documentation of a Small Buisness Network Design Our Company J&J Accounting Inc expanded recently to include two new buildings for a total of three, roughly arranged in a triangle with each building about 500 meters apart. Previously these buildings were wired with category 3 unshielded twisted pair cable running 10 base t ethernet. Our IT director madates that our company be among the first to use 1000 MPS ethernet to the desktop. Our Company has around 100 employees and the offices in our main building include a first floor production area. The Second Floor is HR and a conference room and the top floor is the executive office of each of our three vice presidents and the office of our Ceo. A VPN and web security appliance to include content filtering along with firewall and IDs capability must be included as part ofthe network design Define and design A comprehensive network architechture that fufills the director's requirements and allows for future growth of the network Please draw the network diagram in Microsoft Visio for what the future network layout should look like. Make sure you include a connection to the Internet as well as devices such as routers, switches, printers, cabling, PCs, firewalls, and any other network equipment you may need. Don’t forget to label each device clearly with a make and model! All devices should be a resized image to depict the device in visio. The Main Building Diagram Should show work space using the cubicle, desk and other viso stencils. A legend must be included for all images and stencils used. The Network should be cabled using cat 6 cable and a fiberoptic backbone where required a dmz should be part of the [login to view URL] a 5-7-page summary describing your layout, and explaining the reasoning behind your design. Explain why you chose certain technologies, brands of equipment, and model types. Although you should plan on future growth, please be mindful of budget, as our's is a small business!
