add dropdown combo to .net datagridview (so user can type in a value, not just select)

Hi, I have created code that allow the combobox column's cell to have a dropdown style. I can post result as soon as my bid is accepted. This code can be integrated in your VB.NET project. Hello there, There is now direct way to add a combobox in datagridview(winforms) but we can use a workaround where we place the combobox on gridview and put some custom code to show the combo when particular cell is in action and then assign the combobox's value to cell when the selection is done. However I need to check if this approach will work with all arrow keys and tab key. But I think it should. Thanks, Ramesh

your existing project in vb.net is having combobox in the datagridview control that allows selection of an item , you want it to be replaced by combobox column (or cell) to have a dropdown style, so that the user can select an item or type in a value. I have been working with .net platform from the last 12 years. However i just need to demonstration of your existing application through team viewer or anydesk.

Could you please some details like current screen shot of the control. is this web/ winform/wpf? which is backend SQL REST API?
