my friend has sunk his life savings into opening a hunting/Gun shop at St Mary’s in Western Sydney he’s website is [login to view URL] his has stores being open for over 12 months but he has still been unable to secure a New South Wales firearms dealers license even though the gentleman’s has a license to our own pistols and restricted firearms He applied to the New South Wales firearms registry for his license only to be refused on the grounds of bad character due to the fact he was a former bouncer, he sends appealed the decision and was granted he’s licensed by a magistrate only for the firearms registry who is funded by the New South Wales government to appeal the decision sending him back to court costing him thousands in legal fees and tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars in potential sales that he has lost out on since they have embarked on this unofficial anti new gun shop campaign. He needs someone who is willing to write a favourable article outlining the virtues of what is offering the community and get it into the newspapers he has several glowing endorsements by several senior high ranking police officers and the fact he has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in setting up a legitimate Business only to be persecuted by a New South Wales government department, I believe there could be an element of racial profiling being used due to he’s ethnic background The local politicians have ignored his requests for assistance as it is not politically correct to have anything to do with the firearms industry in the current climate.
