1. Raclette
A German speciality, the Raclette is simultaneously the name of the device and of the dish it creates. A dish that involves the entire family, Raclette is made by taking various pans into which everyone puts a little something – ham, salami, onions, corn, peppers, mushrooms and whatever else they want. But the ingredient that brings it all together is the Raclette cheese. All these are grilled slowly on the device. Once done, this is served with potatoes, garlic butter, salami, mushrooms and pickled silverskin onions.
