Dark medieval adventure

I am a great fan of Dungeons and Dragons, reader of historical novels and plays such as I, Claudius (Robert Graves) and Richard III (Shakespeare) and enjoy any authentic historical fiction. As far as gaming experience, I play Baldur's Gate and love the lore and detail in the story telling. I find a good story can dramatically improve the experience of playing a game. I'm very curious as to what ideas you have and what progress you've made in the game. If I was to be involved in any content creation for a dark medieval themed game, I would be seek to add elements of religion, royal and political intrigue (perhaps involving arranged marriages and dowries), amoral devious villains in the style of Shakespeare and noble families engaging in war for plunder, power and glory. This is a story about two brothers, sons of a king, the oldest brother (heir to the throne) is kidnapped in a surprise attack against his castle, which caused the the death of the king, the younger brother (main character) watched his father die and the king with his last breath told him something to his ear, something that we don’t know yet. when the king died, the younger brother decided to go find his older brother, when he got where all of the attackers were reunited, he find out that his older brother was behind the attack that killed his father, he helped the attackers get in so that they could kill the king and that way he could go back as the hero who was kidnapped but somehow managed to fight back and get revenge for his father. The main character tries to tell everyone what happens but his brother makes it look like he’s lying, so he decides to run away to the woods, a woods that no one goes to, that hides dark things, the main character then finds a master of black magic, who helps him to develop a few skills out of the ordinary, like how to control shadows and use the darkness as an ally, he learned how to fusion his previous training and way of fighting with the new things that his mentor was teaching him, the creatures that they taught him to hate were now his allies. In the woods he learned more about his own history, growing up he only knew the version that his father taught him, the version in which the creatures of the dark woods were evil, but now he knew t
