simulation tests on Ansys or LS Dyna

Hello I'm a Mechanical and Automation engineer and have gained experience in all 3 domains of CAx's. I have done several simulations on several software. I can do the simulations required for the purpose but before that I might have several questions out of which a few are here: 1. Thermal test: - What do you want to observe after 30 minutes? - Temperature contour(I'm assuming you are subjecting the objject with some kind of natural or forced convection ofcourse)? - Or do you want to see the shape of the object after 30 minutes of exposure to a certain heat load? 2. Drop test: - No questions here as it seems to be pretty clear that you would want to see the stresses on the fall in object. 3. Drop test on another object: - Is it the object Flexible or Rigid? - If flexible, what is the object material and properties? - Do you want to study the effect on the object also?
