My name is Douglas Tarenyika. I am a writer based out of Maryland working on animation I wrote called, Princess Tatenda is an Afrocentric tale about a young and daring princess left alone to fend for herself deep in the wild and treacherous forest as she attempts to find her way back home. Along her journey she befriends iconic characters such as Sitota, a young and quirky bipolar teen tree. Asa a sable with spunk and attitude, as well as Konsu, a young tarsier with a big heart but mindset of an elderly grumpy man. Tatenda quickly realizes the different world she is in and is forced to face the affects her people have had on the forest. A place that was once their once home but they left and abandoned a long time ago. The goal with my project is not to just create memorable, loveable, iconic characters and content that audiences will love but also be inspired by to take action in their own day to day lives towards helping and saving our environment. I'm looking to create a trailer for the animation which would be roughly about 2 minutes long. I have illustrations of the characters already created. The voice over audio for the trailer has already been recorded as well. I'm looking for an individual or team to help bring them to life for the trailer! Thank you
